面试在冬天,一月到三月. For faculty positions. I like black, but guess navy
blue is fine too.
Pants suits or skirt suits? Stores? J Crew, Banana Republic, or others?
Material? And one button or 2 buttons?
Any shoes to go with suits? budget for shoes: under $100.

大冬天，裤子吧。我的是THE LIMITED的，黑色的，白色衬衣，盯着SALE的时候，网上
搜到OFF的胖子，知道自己的号就网上买了。鞋子也是黑色的，样子好就行，我KOHLS买
的。

款式要看你的身材决定，去试试就知道了。
另外服装也不是面试的决定因素，只要干净整齐就可以了。鞋穿舒服点，万一要面试一
天呢。

附近有OUTLET吗，推荐THEORY，非常合体。
黑色裤子，咖啡色或黑色西装外套，白色或者浅蓝浅紫衬衣；黑PUMP从MACYS买。

还是美国本土的最好要，大部分人都明白是怎么回事，心照不宣

Of course not, but for business schools, physical appearance is relatively important.
Interviews will last all day plus a dinner the night before.

难道我遇到的是个例？？
我给一个日本老师写陶瓷信，结果copy paste的另一封信把他的specialty还搞错了
他马上回信说可以写，但是specialty不太对不知道合适不合适
我又写信道歉然后发去draft，当天就签回来了。。。。

Thanks a lot. Someone else just recommended Theory to me last night. An
American friend also recommended me to get black pumps from Macys.She
suggested this pair, but are they too shiny for interview purpose?

去了几十个日本人，没有一个回信的。至少说no也行啊，啥都没有，石沉大海。
当然了，老印也是一个德行。

This pair is too high. You may have to stand or walk most of the time
during the interview, and if you are not used to high heels, you may
want to wear something comfortable.
Brook Brothers is very good. I have two shirts and I love them.
In the evening before the interview, it's fine to wear the same pants,
but you need to change the color of the shirts, and cashmere/sweater
will work.

I can raise my budget if necessary. Had no sense before, so just thought I
could get something nice with 300 or 400. No financial constraint, just do
not want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on one suit. As one ID said,
clothing is not the most important factor at the end.:)

I got my suit from Brooks Brothers outlet store for around $350, they are
very comfortable and seem quite fit, I love them so far~

If you are not "big", Theory is a good choice. Actually it is the only brand
that fits well on me for business.

Thank you. You may want to go with petite next time. Everything is shorter
with petite, so it is good for people who are shorter than 5'4". If Theory
does not have petite, that is a pity. I am short too.

我前几周就面试的时候主要看了几家的，ann taylor, banana republic, macys,
jcpenny。我觉得ann taylor 和banana republic的都不错，我162,不是很瘦，都要穿
0号，Petite的。普通的对我来说太长了。他们的原价一套可能要$400左右，不过我买
的时候是满三件原价的就打6折。macys等几个百货商店的真是没法看，最小号我见到的
是4p，又很老气，料子看起来也很cheap。当然这跟我在的大农村也有关系。
鞋我也是在ann taylor买的，6折后$100,穿起来非常舒服。macys也有一些，但是可供
选择的不多

这个周末，花一整天，把下面几个牌子的商店通通试一遍

关键是看腰身肩部领口的裁减，袖子和裤长裙长是可以找裁缝修改的，花不了几个钱
第一次买西装别指望在网上买，因为你对各品牌的fit不了解
吃饭的时候要穿另外一身，可以穿另外一套西装，颜色不同或者式样不同，也可以穿很
business款式的端庄的连衣裙

theory的suit很fit,虽然贵一些，但我觉得如果找到合身的，是值得一买的。推荐到
outlet店去买。
衬衣我觉得express的还可以。BR有的衬衣不是很合身。裤子如果买到petite的还可以
。
