好像美国的faculty，除了商学院这种，一般也比较随便。穿个黑色的大衣也就行了吧

每个男的都要有一套像样的西装嘛, 不但面试的时候用, 以后你tenure了, 到处招摇撞
骗都用的上.
如果你想casual 一下, blazer也行

都可以，不用很挺。我觉得大学老师这样就够了。

扭腰 芝加哥长长哟他的sample sale,折扣会比较低.
AE是男鞋里最基本最划算的dress shoe.而且在美国有很大的distribution network,
你们周围的mall里就应该有阿.

我觉得是应该故意显得nerd一点，复古一点
学学那些英伦老头穿衣服，浅色毛料，呢子小休闲西装，肩膀不是很挺，上面有点暗格
什么的，里面穿个羊毛开衫，围个围巾，带个圆眼镜，有点胡子茬，裤腿收一点，不要
太长，就像上次有人贴得那种男装街拍里的那样，有点学术人文气质，不过这更像文学
院的在装13。

Gossip girl里的chuck就有穿不少BB, 他可是一点不老气.
他家是美国最老的男装fashion 品牌之一了, 这些年不好是因为设计没有跟上去.

如果更要尽善尽美，那就zegna了。
另外这个预算恐怕有点不够，西装大概一套800左右，鞋子保守点100，还有衬衣领带，1000差不多。

说实话，西装上身最好看的是Armani, brooks Brother总体感觉适合35岁以上的，比
较sophisticated， Armani就一定要是年轻高瘦的帅哥穿，腰身很修很有型，可惜也很

在系里面给个普通的talk，大家都熟人的那种，羊毛衫＋衬衣可以，面试不能这么穿
正式点的穿法，长点的coat＋西装suit＋衬衣
不要穿羊毛衫
进屋就脱掉coat，穿suit做presentation.
来我们这儿面试faculty的(理科)，基本都是这个dress code
牌子，说实话，没有质量和贴身重要
你把budget多挪点到衬衣上，效果比投在大衣和suit上好

The retail price of HB is ridiculous taking the quality into consideration,
but hugo boss is less popular among American buyers than the Chinese buyers

If you are on a budget, you could get a very descent shirt for around $200-$
300 and spend less on outwear.
I have a H&M overcoat for about $300, it's not comparable to any of these
big names in Fashion but I still like it very much.
I would actually wear it to an interview since I will take it off once I

look, I think we are talking about interview outfit, not going as stylish as possible. the last thing you want to do with your outfit is to raise a red flag in some quite conservative minds. Just a thought... It also explains why female candidates are not supposed to dress too sexy in an interview.

is OK. Slim fit is heavily promoted in GQ and other fashion magazines,
because so many guys here wear cloth 2 size bigger than their actual size (
which I think it's not the case in the second picture). Like a Chinese old
saying: “娇枉需过正“。

to your body shape will certainly look better.

the problem is though, most guys wear a suit that's at least one size too
big. then you'll have to get a coat that's another size bigger just to feel
ok. if one gets a good fit with the suit, the coat can be snug and
comfortable at the same time.

get rid all the fat in the belly.
But I don't like the trench coat look in another picture of your posts, it's
