为了不歪你的楼,我从开一帖.
我也在看同款的espresso machine, Costco 的,一千刀,美美收到了吗?用着怎么样? 朋
友推荐2000刀的,我相信better machine makes better espresso,但那大大超过了我的
心理预算. 1000刀是我心理承受的极限.
我在huaren上还看到有人用Capresso 的J5,打折也是一千刀左右.美美有没有做过功课
比较这两个的差别?

是的，better machine makes better coffee.2000刀的也只是进门级，我朋友有一个
是6000多刀。但是，如果你还没达到espresso的专家级，一，两千块的已经是more
than you need.

给我讲讲怎么判断better espresso?
我喝过朋友家200刀机器 + 一般粉末做出来的
也喝过老板房间里自动小杯机器 + 高级小杯粉末做出来的
也喝过老板的老板家里高级机器 + 高级粉末做出来的。。。
都差不多呀。。。
最近也想进个机器。。。求解。。。

Mine will be delivered this Friday and I will let you know how it is. This
model can turn on automatically at the time you setup, so can save at least
5 minutes in the morning compared with other model. The original price of
this Espresso machine is $2100. I checked Amazon review and it is said that
"My repair shop says all automatic Espresso machines no matter what brand in
this price range use all the same parts ...". It is said that Starbucks
uses the same brand machine:

I heard that Jura-Capresso is hard to clean. You maybe check the amazon user
review to compare.
I just checked the costco website and seems this model is not available now.
Hope you can still get it later if possible. Let me know if there are any

搞笑，2000刀跟1000刀的区别也就是自动化程度不同而已，咖啡还是一样的咖啡，因为
espresso的压力有极限，不能做到很高。尤其是全自动机器。
全自动机器维护非常复杂，光除钙就得好几小时，没几周搞一次。还要买专门的
cleaner.
一句话，你不开咖啡店，不swim in the money, 2000刀的还真没多少区别

My understanding is that in order to make good coffee, you use coffee bean
rather than ground coffee :-). Coffee beans need to be stored in the
refrigerator once opened to keep them fresh.

据说有调查，最近因为经济不好失业率高，很多人把喝摩卡卡布奇诺等改成和EXPRESSO
。而且DOUBLE
SHOT.
我已经改成在家自己煮黑卡了。

我也是，我觉得牛奶和糖的味道糟蹋咖啡。
一般我都是喝到胃疼才加奶。
另外做Americano（expresso蒸水），latte（expresso蒸奶）或者cappucino （
expresso蒸奶加底奶），Irish （expresso蒸酒精）其实都需要蒸馏其他液体，所以
有蒸馏机还是需要的
其实意大利阿姨跟我说，expresso的好坏只跟三样东西有关：咖啡豆，温度，和filter
咖啡机只要温度控制得好其他不重要。现在还有小店的意大利阿姨用传统的点火的蒸馏
方法和传统的clove当filter煮咖啡，那种最好喝其实。

that really depends how good the coffee is
I only drank espresso in Italy (Argentina is good too, but not as good as
Italy in general)
but in US I barely drink espresso

I don't aggree with you at all :-) I have a personal single cup Keurig
machine in my office. The coffee it brews tastes much worse than the bigger
one used by the whole company: the same coffee capsule, the same Keurig
brand. So now I just have to give up this way and walk several minutes to
the bigger Keurig machine to get a cup of coffee.

single cup Keurig machine sucks because the single cup coffee sucks. My
office has once and I never use it.

如果你不觉得有差别,那就捡最便宜的买就是了
我以前一直喝espresso, 没觉得怎样. 现在换地方了,办公室没有espresso machine,
就买coffee(还不是starbucks)凑合着喝, 发掘除了starbucks的freshly brewed, 其他
的都觉得很难下咽. 本来喝coffee后,神清气爽,感觉很幸福,现在幸福的感觉全没了.

same here. I have the tendency to drink espresso too. but considering the

I have to add cream suger when I drink coffee. but I never add cream when I
have espresso. That's also one of the reasons why I want to have an espresso
machine.

我以前用的espresso machine, 是一个nestle的,espresso出来后,带了一层细密的泡泡
,不需要milk foam,已经很香了.
喝一杯好的咖啡的感觉还是很幸福的

Personal Keurig is not a real expresso -- pressure is so low. You need Saeco
to start with.

I aggress with you. but the bigger one tastes better than my smaller one --
there is still difference.
I am so lazy to go out for a good cup of coffee everyday. so I have to
suffer for the moment.

my italian friend told me he drinks lattee/capuccino in the morning. after
that, he only drinks espresso.
another time, when we had a group lunch at an italian restaurant, after meal, the waiter asked anyone wants to have cofee, tea or lattee. One italian guy said the waiter must not be an italian guy since no one drinks lattee/capuccino after meal (italian meal tends to be very heavy so people usually don't want to get any milk more in their drink).
so I guess, 只是猜想啊, 没做过系统研究,lattee/capuccino for morning, espresso for rest of day.

我是说once I got used to drink espresso in Italy, I don't want to risk
trying espresso elsewhere...instead I rather drink Cortado to damper the
acidity of some espressos made. 意大利人喝什么喜欢喝什么跟我没关系。
我一般都是avoid公司里的coffee machine, 没有发言权. I prefer Italian cafe-
>starbucks->company cafe->espresso machine. 当然上班为方便是另一回事。

besides italians, we have two Arabian and one Chinese (me) in our group. but
it seems to me espresso is more italian than arabic. - just my feeling :-)

大家不要以书本的定义为真理。书本的定义是意大利语的原意。和星巴克的定义相去甚
远。
在美国，点espresso的人没有不要foam的，可能美国人也是以讹传讹，扭曲了意大利语
的原意。不
得而知。
意大利人当然不一样。意大利的espresso和美国的不带foam的espresso也不是一种东西
。是一种超
级浓的苦咖啡，而且是用超小杯饮用的，一般美国人根本不喝。我第一次喝的时候被
呛到了。还有
espresso的咖啡打磨的粉末比一般咖啡的粉末颗粒要细很多。
还有这些东西感觉很小资，就是外国人看我们的刀削面和兰州拉面的区别，不要太认真
，爱咋咋地吧！
p.s. 吹气的那个功能如果没有的话，就很冤大头。因为众所周知氧气可以bring up
coffe's
flavor.

一半半自动比较好，不要买全自动的。
可以先看看espresso的网站，里面有很多tips。
我是觉得一是压力很重要，二是豆的新鲜程度。剩下的temp啥的就是个人手艺问题了。
俺是觉得如果手艺不好，再贵的机器也做不出来好的。

其实也可以单点espresso的，一杯一般都是 1oz，我喝过的。

的确，咖啡豆也要选的好才有用。咖啡机器的清理非常麻烦，从内到外不能马虎。

喜欢咖啡的mm真不少亚
和ld极少喝咖啡，容易胃不舒服，看这个帖子觉得真省钱那。。。。。
有时候煮西洋参茶或者姜茶，放凉之后加一些manuka honey，也挺好的

美国的 espresso 也是超小杯的好不好。美国人喝 espresso 的人很多，只不过不一定
都出现在 starbucks.
espresso 根本就不苦，好的 espresso 的标准是甘甜的有一层自然的 crema, 没有酸
苦。再说 espresso 咖啡打磨出来的粉末一般是比一般的咖啡要粗的，太细了会 over
extract, 就苦了。
能呛人的 espresso？呵呵，喝的难道是土耳其方法调制的咖啡？正常情况下
espresso 不会带出咖啡渣的。
还有所谓氧气 brings up coffee's flavor, 还“众所周知”？拜托，那个吹气的是 steamer, 为了 froth milk 用的，就是蒸汽而已，跟咖啡的 flavor 无关。milk 被 heat 到一定温度之后形成很细小的 foam, 牛奶里面的自然的甜味这时候更明显。

I hope I can drink tea too! Actually I am not a big fan of coffee at all,
and my skin will break out if I drink too much coffee. My lg's hometown is
Hangzhou and we have a lot of very good tea at home. But I am too sensitive
to tea and cannot fall into sleep at night even if I drink a little bit tea
in the early morning! So I only drink one cup of latte in the morning to
keep me awake.

喝咖啡晚上睡不着觉
咖啡里面含的咖啡因比茶多很多啊。。。
可以试一下淡淡的西洋参茶

恩，咱俩对米国espresso & froth milk的看法是一派的
可能妖后她们那嘎答跟我们村儿不一样

对啊，我想了半天也没搞明白，你就买个一万刀的咖啡机，咖啡豆不还是那些咖啡豆？有多少质变？
我们办公室咖啡难喝大家都知道是因为经济不好以后采购开始买便宜的咖啡豆了
做咖啡的关键还是原材料不是工具吧。尽把工具往贵了买，不注重原材料，也是买椟还珠

我喜欢全自动的咖啡机，用起来实在是省心很多。用过两款，一个是saeco Xelsis
Digital ID, 价格3000出头，还有一款是Ｊｕｒａ capresso Impresso S8,价格在２０
００左右
比较下来，区别不大，由于saeco这款是新款，所以自带的牛奶导入加热起泡罐子比较
好用，而且自动记录个人喜好（如温度，豆子研磨程度等），编入系统，一个按钮一杯
咖啡就做好了。两个机器清洗起来也不是很麻烦，都带有自动清洗，按照屏幕上面提示
就能完成。
Ｓ８的新款是Ｓ９，区别就是在于一个牛奶罐，但是这个东西实在是赞！冷热牛奶隔离
，气泡一流，也不用人在旁边守着防止牛奶外溢。（感觉我就是一个卖机器的，汗！俺
在咖啡机上研究颇久，主要想要找到一个一劳永逸的机器，目前来看saeco满足了俺一
键功能的要求）
咖啡豆买的时候注意不要买黑油亮的豆子，这种豆子伤机器，典型代表：星巴克家的豆
子。ｗｈｏｌｅ　ｆｏｏｄ有时候会有不错的豆子卖。另外不加奶的咖啡是正宗喝法，
但是实在伤胃，胃还是比较重要，还是加点奶喝哈。不要空腹喝咖啡，也别喝太多咖啡
，　现在很多人晚上失眠，头疼都跟咖啡因射入太多有关。

sure where could get real ones. It is said those sold in Costco is lacking
in full bodied flavor. How about Mavis brand?

你一定会喜欢的。jura的机器很棒的。我推荐给我朋友，大家买了都赞不绝口。售后服
务也是一流。
没喝过mavis的，俺喝咖啡杂得很，因为有个在咖啡豆公司工作的内线，很多地方的豆
子乱七八糟都尝过，有些连名字都没起过就被淘汰了。其实星巴克有好豆子，但是很少
拿出来大批量的卖，味道奇特古怪的基本都淘汰不用，最多内部公司开会的时候喝喝。
豆子的成本大部分都很低，所以咖啡公司才发大财了。但是有一点和酒相通，越贵越好
喝。哈哈
