请问：作为一个PHD Candidate录取到[email protected]里，奖学金是RA。在这个过程中要拿
到Master学位有什么要求，需要导师同意或者论文答辩吗？因为不太清楚自己能不能有
能力一路下去拿到PHD，如果坚持不下去，就想以Master身份毕业了。请问在[email protected]
Columbia，这个手续和要求复杂吗，一般要多久能够拿到Master学位？谢谢！

Does anyone know where I can take a shuttle in DC area? I am cheap and got
a gambling problem. I heard there's such a shuttle which will refund you the

it depends on your program.
if ms leading to phd, you should be able to get one after completing 30 credit hours;
if phd directly, you need pass quals and finish re'd coursework to get a m.
phil degree, and you may need your advisor's approval for this case.
either way, it does not sound good. no offense at all, it sounds a little like thinking of divorce when getting married.

btw, you are not a candidate yet before passing the qualifying exams :)
