俺本身是不太喜欢编程的，所以除了大学必修课学了一点C语言之外，一直没学其他的
。现在看来还是挺有用的，谁给推荐一下，学习方法，以及学习的顺序。觉得相关的有
java, vb, vc, avenue，谁有啥评论，尽管招呼。本版就是需要学术气氛。版主这帖子
多给点钱吧！

现在除了arcgis，其他的GIS软件用的很少很少吧。
难道例外写一套？

avenue就不要看了，越来越少人用了。而且esri好像对arcview3.x不开发了。
AML同理，不要学了。
至于vb，vc如果以前用过，还可以用。否则直接上.net吧。
学习方法就是help。呵呵

呵呵，什么事都有个新鲜劲儿，玩玩再说，觉得啥都懂点儿挺好，将来万一自己当
faculty招学生课题方向可以往宽了拓展。

if you are really serious and want to learn a programming languae, forget
python.

IDL不是RS上用的么？
至少和esri那套东西没什么联系吧

C# or Java.
Be sure to understand ASP.NET2.0, which would be very useful in the next few
years.
