简单写一下签证经过。
妈妈2003年被拒过一次。
遇到是一个中年男签证官，居然不说中文，通过一个翻译提问。
问了以下几个问题。
1. 我出国前在那读书？
2. 什么签证出的国？
3. 出国后再哪读书？
4. 什么专业？
可能还问了什么时候毕业的。我的材料一翻而过。我父母的材料，照片根本没看。
签证过程中一直在看电脑，敲字。然后翻译就说通过了。开始叫下一个。
爸爸说其他好几个父母也都签过了。
祝各位签证的父母都能顺利通过。

刚拿到一个faculty的工作，但是要明年（2011）1月开始；学校现在就准备开始办H1b
的签证了，但是我今年8月有需要回国同时签证
现在我还是F1签证(已经过期)，这么回去是不是比较危险？因为下学期我还要教课，最
好不要有什么风险...
请教大家了，非常感谢~

听说是天生的. 少数人也可以后天培养的吧.
我想到的几点, 不知道对不对:
1. 要能独当一面, 能干.
2. 能出一套方案, 让每个人都能effectively contribute
3. communicate well, 不得罪人, 人都能support你.
4. 对异己分子能及时避开或排除.

你说的是management，不是leadership
leadership 最重要的是vision,decision making

我爸爸妈妈上个月在成都，也是一签就过。还说当天看到的没有被拒的，全都是顺利通
过。
估计现在美国闹猪流感，经济又不好，所以巴不得多些人进来帮着刺激经济吧？

Leadership就是你知道应该干什么(goal,strategy...)，然后你说服别人和你一起干(
persuasion).
你可以去wiki上查查上面这些词，然后你就知道这些都是可以培养的。

Congratulations! I am preparing forms for my mother now. I have two question
1. Do I need to fill DS-156 form in Chinese for her? where is it? I can only
find the electronic DS-156 form in English.
2. Do I need to fill DS-157 form in Chinese for her? I found a form half in
English, half in Chinese. So only one form, or one in English and the other
in Chinese?

恩，我觉得leadership确实可以培养，但是好的leader应该是天生的。。。要能做出
有远见的正确的判断，并且获得他人的长期支持，需要天分
不过现在社会appear to be a good leader很多时候就够了，哈哈

大公司太多领导都是靠利益关系来领导的，升值，加薪。真正靠leadership,个人魅力
的太少了。

我妈妈和LZ妈妈有相似被拒签的经历，我在着手准备邀请父母来美得事情，LZ的case给

Thank you for response! I did read embassy website several times
before asking. Just want to confirm because it says filling 156 form and
157 form in both English and Chinese. Three years ago, it was true that we
should fill two forms for each (one form in English, one form in Chinese).
So it seems now we only need one form for 156 and one form for 157. Thanks
again.

I also have same questions. I know the 156 form only fill one form. For 157
form, I checked shengyang embassy website , it said that 157 form should
fill in both: English and Chinese; however, I can not find the chinese form
from website. I am confuse. Jacobscb,can you confirm that we only need one
form for 157 in shengyang embassy?

Since new 157 form has both English and Chinese in one page, so I assume
