i still think you should have some. for application, it might be possible
that you provide a copy of transcript for review purpose, but
eventually, you have to provide an official copy to graduate school as
part of your records to formally finish the application process

As the last strw, you can ask your current university/department, who keeps
one copy of your transcripts, to issue a verified photocopy.
