Unless that prof has shown interest in you, don't do this.
It is possible that other prof also has interest in you,
and they won't compete for students if u mention other's
name. Instead, u can mention some fields, labs, etc...

我碰上有一个学校的教授嘱咐我在PS里说明愿意作他的学生。
