请问从中国往美国寄大宗包裹（比如50公斤），何种方式最便宜？
听说有人办理过海运，请问具体手续如何？
通过邮局邮寄如何？可靠性如何？
在BBS上找了半天，也没有答案。
请过来人多多指点，多谢多谢！

hai yun can be done at normal post office. just tell the clerk that you want
hai yun and fill a form. it will take about a month to arrive. I don't know
about the reliability. you have the choice to buy insurance.
