因为没经验，所以问一下：
学校OFFER信中提到的接受OFFER的Deadline对学校本身也应该是有法律约束的吧。也就是
说，你应该是有权在最后一天决定是否去的。(尽管Offer信上总会说 As Soon As
Possible)
毕竟更好的学校还有一点点希望，所以不想提前答应接受。信上说Deadline是五月中旬。
傻傻的问：哪怕等到最后一天才答应也不会有任何风险吧？

yes. you can accept the offer on the last day if you want. but if you have
made up your mind, it will help others if you inform the department earlier.
There is 415协议，只有协议上的学校，才受这个限制。
if your deadline is 五月中旬, then it is has nothing to do with that 415 协议.
but since, they said mid-May, then it is mid-May. I don't think there is any
risk.
