对我鼓舞很大。(btw, if you know the name of the English translation of this
book, please let me know. it was originally written in Russian I guess. I read
a Chinese version.)
建议大家多讨论当今的牛人吧。我是牛人决定论的忠实信徒。
当年学 PASCAL的时候读了本 algorithms + data structure = programs. 多年之后才知
该书作者乃一牛人。(randomly googled a link for him)

大学时候，听说一个人叫香侬，不知是男是女。直觉其名字取得好。后来听说有个熵论。
只让我想起熵鞅变法。直到老的不行了。才知道香侬发明了信息论。而且这东西是这么有
用。此是一大牛人。

牛不牛都是相对的。algorithms + data structure = programs 的作者是不是牛人，
看和谁比。如果计算机界就能选 10个牛人的话，肯定没有他的份。
把那本书翻译成中文的家伙，在国内也肯定是个牛人，另外一个层次的。
所以。。。1. 牛人总是成堆的出现。时间上和空间上都是这样。。。这话说了
跟没说一样。

的确是好书. 我读过最好的科普类读物.

"men of mathematics".
It seems it was written by an English speaker. I might be wrong in my previous
