哈哈哈哈，你是该比的东西不必，不该比的乱比，是学自然科学或者社会科学的吗？
一看就不是UNIV OF CHICAGO这个学校的人。
1。应该比的，SAT分数。
我们要看到 USC 的长足进步。在2001年，USC 新生SAT 25%-75% 是1220-1410，
这几年75%那条线长了50分(如果数据属实的话)。不知道这位风舞狂沙同学有没有
最新的UCHICAGO和 HARVARD的SAT 数字，但是至少在2001年， UC 是1300-1480，
HARVARD是 1380-1570，明显比USC高一块的。
2。数据有问题的。。
rank #1 是全年级还是全班？USNEWS的 RANK用的是HIGHSCHOOL CLASS，应该是班。
用班做单位的话，TOP 1%肯定是 #1了。用年级做单位的话，16%是年级第一？可信吗？
3。不应该比的。。
1 和公立学校比生源。。。这点不用解释吧。公立学校的学生主要是来看
football 的，Fall 学期的 enrollment 往往比 Spring 大不少。
2 比admission rate, 我这有几个数字

I didn't deny UChicago and Harvard are out it the league, did I (I
specifically said it is NOT a top school yet)? What I said was we have to give
credit to USC's achievment in recent years. It is rising rapidly. Its
engeering school rises to #6, fair or not, there must be a reason for that.
attacking it because of the rise is simply irrational.
claiming it is a sucky school, as someone did, is both irresponsible and
ignorant.

good point.
Somebody here, such as iamXXX, is really a sicky guy.
From my limited experience and his performance everywhere, I even can guess
which university he graduated from in china.

two questions.
(1) is Cornell counted as public or private? I know it is composed of two
parts. but generally, it is counted as "a private school". How can you say
"just comparing with public schools? Comparing with UCLA and UCB also makes
sense, because these two have good reputations in public schools, and
they have much better average SAT scores ten years ago, but the situation is
inverted. At least in terms of this criteria, USC passed them already.
(2) Why you use 2001 data? It is out of da
