在美国申请到去德国的签证,可以先回到中国,再从中国去德国吗?
如果可以的话,是不是在美国申请去德签证的时候,就直接提供从中国去德国的来回机票?
F1签证已过期,在美国的POSTDOC合同5月底到期,所以得先回国,把好多行李带回国,然后
再去德国面试.

想要在我的旧 (20GB system disk 硬碟那个) 安装温七.
DVD驱动器坏了, 主板又太老了，不能USB启动
想想.. 新机 (2 year old) 一个SATA DVD drive 拆來用, haa!
發觉旧机没有 sata power connection... 家里没有 adaptor....
想吧想吧.. 用新机器电源，连接SATA数据线到旧电脑, 让两机都开者, 那么我可以
DVD 启动, 格式那个 20GB 硬碟再安装, 觉得自己很聪明. haa!
zturn 半天, configure bios, enable sata etc... reboot, found the DVD drive!
觉得自己很聪明 haaa!
"发现光盘"
"从DVD磁盘启动"
WIN!!!!
"cannot boot from cd code 5".....
WTF.... reboot again... same error...
Google搜索 ... 老主板玩不转 Vista/温七 boot loader...
我是不是没希望鸟？

你拿张XP的安装盘看能不能boot，可能是光驱的问题

更win7没关系，是SATA DVD的问题。
他的主板也许认SATA,但windows 7 不认sata dvd吧，需要驱动。
换个IDE的external DVD试试。

SATA的DVD都出来多少年了，Win7怎么可能不能认。

technically 从vista开始sata driver就集成在里面了。
不过经常会有一些sata的东东 win 7 的sata driver不work。
硬盘的话可以在安装过程中load driver,不过如果是sata光驱的话那就没啥办法了，用
IDE光驱保险。

先装xp，然后把win7拷到硬盘上，然后用命令行配置上win7的安装启动菜单？

... leadteck WinFast A280.. I think it's a nVidia Ti400? and sound blaster x

这么老的机器没有必要折腾WIN7了吧。装好WIN7再装点软件你都没多少硬盘空间了。我的电脑C盘系统，D盘软件，现在C盘系统已经用了有17G左右了

上linux,很适合老机器。一般应用都有，特别需求估计那cpu也够呛

I don't want to re-install WinXP... so tired. I'll reuse the 200GB IDE
harddrive on my new machine, and sell the rest.
I guess I'll make a virtual PC on my new machine for my... hum... risky
internet browsing
