有点像当年学生申请phd。
一个不是很好的学校，方向也不是特别match
committee chair给我发信问我research interest，怎么和他们match
我扯了一大通，chair好像还比较满意（虽然只是weak connection with their
requirement)
后来chair问我我最近给的talk的题目是什么，我告诉他了。
后来我跟他说一些我现在的近况。他好像也比较感兴趣，还跟我说了他们的近况，还向
我要了一个paper（跟他们毫无关系的paper），说想看看。。
但这两个星期，这个chair一直没有跟我说onsite或者phone interview的事情。。。莫
非我们俩只是纯粹的讨论学术了？

请问各位牛人：如果您手头有10万美元现金暂时没急用，您会存银行定期还是去买bond
?
I went to a bank the other day, the investment advisor tried so hard to
convince me to buy conservative bonds. He thought I was totally insance to
put that amount into a CD at my age. He told me the average return for the
conservative bonds was 6% while the CD only 2% for 3yr. What do you guys
think about this? What will you do if have this money?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions! Any advices will be highly
appreciated!

最近刚买了这个镜头，发现没有review的那么好，拍人像都拍不出来虚化的效果，觉得
可能是自己不会用，所以想在这请教一下。
这个镜头主要适合拍什么？拍摄时要用什么setting？

什么时候都是$850拿下
为啥能这样呢？别的厂家比如lenovo的x301，hp的envy 13
这样的配置有deal都要接近$1500了
差别在哪里呢？

刚才chair说能不能skype或者gtalk聊聊。
聊了15分钟，更具体介绍了一下我的背景，chair说对我很感兴趣，但由于我的背景相
差比较远，他只能说他会向其他人推荐一下，但如果大家都不认可，那也没办法了。。

I moved $50K back to China 1.5 months ago and bought Chinese 3 year bond (3.
73% annually). More important is the appreciation of RMB...
