It's birthday time, and the sparkling aspects in the air in early to mid-
March will be an exquisite gift from the universe, not only to enjoy in
March, but for your entire year ahead. Astrologers like to look at your "
solar return" at birthday time, which translates literally to mean, "the sun
returns" to the place it was at the date of your birth. When aspects are as
beautiful as the ones you will have now on or near your birthday, it bodes
so well for a very happy and prosperous year ahead.
A group of four planets, all in earth signs and all supremely friendly to
each another, will link and form a perfect triangle in the sky. That is the
formation of a "grand trine," which is considered the very finest aspect you
could ever hope to see. We have not seen a golden triangle like this one in
years, for it involves four (not three) major planets, all in tight
mathematical perfection.
The four planets include Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Pluto, and together they
will hold hands and harmoniously link the following three houses of your
horoscope: 1) Your seventh house of partnership, where Mars will be based in
Virgo and the full moon will appear, also in Virgo, not far from Mars. 2)
Your third house of communication and quick, short-distance travel, the
place where good luck Jupiter and Venus will be based. 3) Your eleventh
house of friendships, groups, and new associations, where Pluto will be
based. Jupiter and Venus will be in close proximity in Taurus, Mars and the
full moon will be in Virgo, and Pluto will be in Capricorn. All the planets
will be in earth signs, and those are signs that blend so beautifully with
your water-sign element. This is all so fortunate and so rare, it's akin to
having five apples line up in a slot machine - and you win!
Each of these houses will work flawlessly together with each planet
contributing its gifts to you. Looking at the formation I've just listed
above will give you a clue of how this month's aspects will benefit you. The
golden triangle will "hit" perfection on March 12 and 13, but it would be
best to use the energy on the full moon in Virgo (18 degrees) on March 8.
All full moons have an area of energy that is plus or minus four days, but I
would like you to center your actions a little tighter, March 7 to 11.
I say that because Mercury will go retrograde on March 12 until April 4. Yes
, I am a little disappointed that Mercury will act up just on the day one of
the finest aspects of the year is forming. However, this golden triangle is
different from those we've seen before - it's far better! (The last similar
one came by in June 2004, and prior to that, we would have to look much
further back, to March 1967.) I feel it would take a lot more than just
Mercury retrograde to undo the brilliant benefits of this magnificent
configuration that you are to receive! I will explain how this will work
because it is all so very exciting and so very positive!
First, the full moon of March 8 will light your seventh house of
partnerships, and it appears that you are getting ready to come together
with another individual for a singular purpose. You may be getting engaged
or married over the weekend of March 10-11, or you may be ready to promise
to be exclusive to each other. How exciting! This seems to be an important
juncture in your relationship.
I will admit that it is also always possible to break up over a full moon,
for full moons always bring latent emotions to the surface, but I doubt that
you would have a breakup now. This part of your chart is at one point of a
triangle and beautifully aspected by other planets. I see you to be happy at
this time - not sad!
Another way you may use this energy of the full moon, March 8, is that you
may be ready to sign papers with an important business partner. You may be
poised to start a joint venture with another person or company, or you may
be ready to sign with a professional, such as with a new agent, manager,
publicist, lawyer, accountant, or other specialist. This full moon may,
alternatively, help you align with a new client. This full moon will
crystallize talks so that you can reach accord and move forward. Even if you
feel talks have been going on forever, this full moon is powerful enough to
bring them to a logical conclusion.
Due to Mercury about to go retrograde, it will be very important to act no
later than March 8 or 9. Normally, I would advise you to stay as far away
from Mercury retrograde as possible (say, two weeks), because of the
problems that Mercury can bring when you even get close to its turning
backwards. This time, however, I will let you come up closer to the onset
date of Mercury retrograde, up to March 9 (with Mercury turning retrograde
March 12), because this golden triangle is so extraordinary and will offer
some protection. This does not mean, however, that you should rush through a
contract and sign it without carefully looking at every clause, which would
not be a good idea at all.
If you have already seen the contract, and have spoken to your lawyer, you
can sign on or close to the full moon, March 8. This full moon will fall
very close to Mars, the action planet, so it's likely you will be anxious to
get things signed, sealed, and delivered.
It is true I would prefer that Mars would be going direct this month when
you make any big initiation, but Mars is so beautifully angled to Jupiter,
Venus, and Pluto that I feel you will do well anyway. I am carefully
weighing all the aspects at the time and have come to this conclusion. Go
ahead and sign (or give your verbal agreement), but only if you are sure you
've seen all the clauses, gone over all the terms of the agreement, and can
crystallize the agreement by March 9 at the latest. If you can't get things
organized by March 9, then table your agreement to April 21, the gorgeous
new moon next month. At that time, both Mars and Mercury will be direct.
If your birthday falls on March 8, or within five days of this date, you
will feel the effects of this full moon and benefit from all the excitement
in the air. Also, your birthday year ahead will bring a culmination to so
much of what you worked hard to achieve in recent years. Next year at this
time (actually, on the new moon of March 11, 2013), you will be planting
seeds for a new future. This year, if you have planets in Pisces, Taurus,
Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, or Capricorn at 18 degrees or close to that degree (
within five degrees), you will also likely find a way to benefit.
If your birthday falls on February 26 to 28, plus or minus three days, you
will feel the brilliant effects of the golden triangle now and in the month
to come. You, too, will be very, very fortunate and benefit in ways you
still can't imagine!
There are other houses being drawn into the conversation of this golden
triangle, so let's look at those for a moment, too.
Your ability to speak, write, translate, code, or in other ways communicate
masterfully will be appreciated, and your skills will be in demand in early
to mid-March, especially near March 7-11. If you work in publishing,
broadcasting, software development, the Internet, translation, or in any
phase of communication, you will find that just about everyone will want you
on the team.
You may travel in the first part of March too, not overseas, but rather to a
beautiful location not far from home (within a day's drive or flight). That
city will be your lucky city now. Venus will travel so very close to
Jupiter throughout all of March, which suggests that you will enjoy quite a
bit of popularity as you travel. If you are speaking, you will find all the
right words, and others will be moved by them - Venus and Jupiter will see
to that!
If you are speaking for your work, it appears you will make a nice fee or
profit. I say that because Venus is the natural ruler of your eighth house
of other people's money, so at this time, financial news should be excellent
. Jupiter rules Pisces' fame sector, too, so your reputation will glitter
and glow, and if you should be the subject of a press story, the piece
should become a jewel in your crown. (You will feel like you just won the
cosmic lottery! What a month!)
Over the weekend of March 10 - 11, or sooner, from March 7 to 9, you may be
attending an important social event that will bring many happy, well-dressed
people together. Your event may be a birthday party or a wedding, or it may
be a professional event such as a seminar or special awards banquet. It is
also possible you may be giving a speech or special presentation. It will be
a very exciting moment, for it will bring many like-minded people together.
Some of the guests there will be people you know; others you won't, but
will want to get to know better.
Something about this event will have an extraordinary effect on your future,
so see how things go. If you are speaking or giving a presentation, you
will impress higher ups - you can count on that - and chances are, you will
get more invitations to speak again by those in attendance. Pluto's
involvement in your eleventh house at the time of the golden triangle, from
March 7 to 13, is the reason this event is coming up. Miraculously, Pluto
will be in beautiful angle to Jupiter, a rare aspect that won't happen again
until 2015, so this is indeed a major moment in your timeline. You will
have to wait and see what happens.
Once Mercury goes retrograde, you will still have opportunities arise on
March 12 or 13 of which you may be able to take advantage if the call or
email emanates from someone you already know from your past. During a
retrograde, it is actually lucky to re-connect with friends and associates
from your past, for this usually means there is something more you both were
meant to do together. Go ahead and have talks.
You can't quite fudge this qualifier, though. If you just met someone a week
before the Mercury retrograde period started, that does not "count" as
having a history together! You have to have had a rich experience with that
person to make it qualify for "the past." Otherwise, I would be very wary
about entering into any new ventures during a Mercury retrograde period, for
results are often disappointing and never fulfill the whole reason you
entered into the relationship in the first place.
Finances have been a pressing concern for you lately, but this month you may
get a surprise opportunity to add to your cash flow and gain added security
almost instantly! The new moon of March 22 will fall in your second house
of earned income and will be accompanied by the Sun, Uranus, and Mercury.
This opportunity may come as a direct outgrowth of the skill you displayed
in communication earlier in the month, or because by now you've developed
such a strong reputation that it precedes you, and others want to work with
you! Whatever comes up will be a complete surprise, so have your cell phone
powered up!
You can now find a way to add some steady income, so ask for a raise. If you
are in talks for a new position, it might be time to discuss the right
salary. If possible, let the other party lead the discussion on finances and
let talks drag on a bit. I would rather you make your deal next month, at
the new moon April 21, not now. By then, both Mars and Mercury will be
moving direct, and Mars has strong bearing over your solar second house of
earned income. Mercury is retrograding in that SAME second house of salary,
and for these reasons I would like you to finalize talks next month, not now
. We can't always get things the way we want, but we can sure try. If you
can't, then go with the flow. Remember, this month you're golden.
If you are self-employed, you will find you are at the right place at the
right time to bring in a new client. Your reputation for creativity and
superb communication could well be responsible for your success. It is also
possible that some recent publicity impressed a powerful person, and that he
or she sought you out after reading or hearing about your good work. I say
that because of the prominent position Uranus is playing at this new moon.
You won't see any of this luck coming, so when your good financial luck hits

One piece of advice - Mercury and Mars in retrograde indicates that some of
your present clients may be tardy in paying you. Be sure to send out
reminder statements, or you may be waiting a long time (an extra month) for

Romantically, you will be a stand out. With Venus touring Taurus all month
from March 5 to April 3, if single, you will feel it fun to navigate social
situations. Pisces is often shy, not given to crowded parties, so you may

that you will find the whole process easier - others will come to you!
