上个月申的那张Preferred Charge Card拿了75K
这个月申了一张Gold Business又拿了75K
有趣的是这一共150K的点数都存到了同一个membership reward帐号
那是否我到时候只要留两张卡中任何一张都可以保留这些点数？

地点休斯顿，以前住北方，植物长得慢2-3年都没修剪过，搬来半年了，看着前院的橡
树，夹竹桃，白玫瑰还有些不认识的植物，后院的棕榈树，松柏都长得好快啊，感觉再
这么长下去会很乱，想问问大家都什么季节修枝？我自己买了个电锯，也有大剪刀，
但是不会用，想请个那种修枝的老墨来弄几次学一学，大家知道上哪去找这样的人么?
价格大概是
多少？包子感谢！

这位同学好, 不是同学们不回你帖, 而是你的问题太大太杂, 让人很难回答啊.
橡树, 夹竹桃, 白玫瑰, 棕榈树是完全不同类别的植物, 需要用不同的方式在不同季节
修剪. 若你不熟, 建议第一次还是找人做, 你在边上学. 至於找人, 休斯顿应该很容
易啊, 价格嘛, 那要看你要做些什么及树的大小了. 找个两三家来估一下就清楚了.

ipad那不叫instant on，那玩意就是个standby，windows有这个feature几百年了。

recovering from standby is like 5 seconds, not <0.5 seconds like phones/
tablets. I think this is important for tablet use where people tend to turn
on the device to check something quick, then turn off.
Maybe this cannot be done on x86, but ARM.

谁从standby恢复要5秒啊。。。你搞得清stand by和hiberbate的区别吗？

hibernate is too slow. it takes 30 secs on my machine (large mem, slow hd).
are you getting high just because I happend to mention ipad in my first post
? sorry if you are, but I did not mean to specifically compare to ipad, but
to smartphone/tablets in general.

我的台机从standby恢复就只要1秒。
不过完整的Windows系统或者完整的mac系统肯定比不完整的ipad操作系统要慢一些吧。

那种原始的待机太耗电，现在一般比较流行的是S3 STR(suspend to ram), 待机只有内
存工作，其他都关掉，所以开机是要几秒时间的，特别是用硬盘会更明显。

yes. It also takes 1-2 seconds to wake up the monitor from standby, not the
case with smartphone/tablets. There must be hardware integration needed for
PC/x86 architecture so that monitors can switch between on/off quickly.
