现在正卖房。
几年前请了老中完成了地下室，没有申请township的permit, 也不知这个老中有没有
electricity license。
现在有人要买这个房子，也说不在乎有没有permit。我的问题是：
1、如果以后出问题了，比如地下室的电路短路引起火灾，我会不会有可能吃官司？
2、township会不会来找我补税？
3、补一个permit难不难？我的agent说有变态的镇会要求把墙耙掉查电路。

年纪轻轻离开，着实让人惋惜。
听了好几首歌，没有特别感受，能感觉到很多的确有对生命的感触。

唉，do not cut the corners。你地下室都装修了，那个permit+tax能有多少钱。

如果能把房子卖掉，不要求把墙耙掉查电路，你就烧高香吧。别的都是次要的。

这个板子还是很实惠的，跟俺的x4 840一起，总共才花了$60左右。

Legally speaking, 镇会要求把墙耙掉查电路, if anybody tells on you.
Since there is no 坦白从宽 in most towns, don't bother to 补一个permit, just
try your luck and sell your house as is. Cough up the money if you get
caught (quite possible, for example, a buyer asks for credit for these un-
permitted upgrades, and you say no, chances are he will tell on you : )

很多town要求有Occupancy Certification之后，房才可上市卖。Town里来人查，看你
把房糟蹋的什么样了，有没有违法建筑等。

对。
不坦白，town里睁一只眼，闭一只眼。
坦白了，town里两眼就要睁开，否则失职，是他的责任。

We bought a house like that. The procedure was:
1.We found out the owner didn't apply permit for the basment work, so we
inform the seller to have it certified by township before closing. The
stanard contract protect buyer in this aspect (all permits should be
obtained before closing) according to my attorney;
2. Seller applied the permit in township, got approved, don't know the
detial how they did that;
3. Township send people to examine the existing structure, electricity
wiring, and gave com

我在disclosure注了没有permit, agent也跟他们说了（我的listing agent 也是他们
的buyer agent)，他们说他们不care, 就把合同签了。
我担心的是，如果我现在去township申请，他们要是要耙墙，岂不很惨？！现在buyer
是不care, 万一以后出事了再来找，也是很头疼的事。从法律角度，如果我告诉他们了
，房子也过户了，是不是以后的事就和我没关系了？
