Currently available native ZFS solutions on linux are based on llnl zvol. It
's not mature enough for serious use as far as I know.I would go with
solaris which is where the ZFS was born. Currently active Solaris distros
are Oracle solaris 11/nexenta/openidana/EON etc. For beginners, I would
suggest try openindiana 151a4 plus napp-it. It is really easy and I use it
on my setups. For experienced people and those who like to tailor things
down, try EON. Nexenta is a nice concept but I had a lot of trouble with it
in the past. Hope they are doing better these days.
