用了这么多年笔记本电脑，从来没有坏的，都是太慢淘汰了。从IBM Thinkpad 760 到
Dell Latitude D600。可刚买了一年的Thinkpad X120E，也不常用，居然就在我眼前
屏幕变红，然后就不亮了。这年头，可靠的只有苹果？

I think the reason Lenovo/IBM scored high on the list is because their users
are most business users who, when in need, would more likely to call their
own IT department than to call this Rescuecom.

Also i think Lenovo/IBM owners are somewhat longer time PC users, using the
trackpoint and such. So they don't call support as they are the support or
PC savvy enough to fix their own software problems. As for Acer users, i
think Acer being the cheapest laptops in general, giving equal money, a less
savvy user would chose what is cheaper. If the statistics refer to actual
hardware problems then... ignore all i've written. On second thought, i see
the statistics are based solely on phone calls, so it would seem to be only
software problems, as it's kinda hard to repair hardware over the phone.

X120e is not real thinkpad.
Only T-series, X-series with 12 inch screen or above, and W-series are true
thinkpads.
11 inch X-series is originally developed based on AMD cpu targeting low end
market, particularly price sensitive education segment. Quality of X120e and
X130 is no where near that of X220 and X230.
However, I agree with most people that overall quality of ThinkPad has gone
down on recent years. Sadly it is still probably the most reliable laptop
brand out there.

这个统计数据当然不是100%的准确，不过可以提供一个总体参照，我觉得比一个用户的
经验更靠谱
而且我贴这篇主要是因为你说“这年头只有apple可靠”，从这个报告里看不是这样
就在下面你贴的文字里，还提到了apple本身不高的分数里还有水分，因为用户更倾向
于打apple客服

this is bullshit. The reason the price of x120e was lower because its specs
were lower, AMD E350 cpu, 2g ram, 250g 5400 HD, and 1.5hours battery. Those
were fine to me because I could easily put in a ssd and upgrade the rams. My
complaint is this thing died after a year, or to be specific, the screen
died. A thinkpad shouldn't die after a year of light use, period. I call it
a bad quality. My IBM Thinkpad 760 from 13 years ago still runs strong with
Windows NT.

Any product can die within a few days, or even a hour, that is why they are
covered under warranty and not guaranty. After all, Thinkpad uses the same
components such as hd, ram, cpu and screens that everyone else use.

Watch your language. Being rude and using dirty word doesn't make you right.
The fact is that X120e is designed for low end market. You cannot argue that
. For all products in this category pc makers have to cut corners here and
there, which leads to a very simple result: low end product is more likely
to fail. You are just one of the unlucky customers.

只能说明美国家庭用户用联想的少以及联想保修期长？
看看别的调查，联想连asus都不如

that is a readers choice survey (who will bother to read much less to vote
in pc magazine) and is much more subjective.
It's also interesting to see how much apple fan boys like their apple
computers even though a more objective survey shows otherwise.

俺的THINKPAD 显示器3个月不到自己出现液晶泄露，不给保修，5个月后彻底花掉！现
在外接显示器，当台式机用！当初就是听了版里上面些托儿的谗言，再也不买烂脑娃的
产品！

发个不同的声音。我两个老thinkpad，一个T60，一个X61，分别是07年，08年买的。10
年左右各加了1G内存。两边塑料壳都有破裂。今年开始很慢，风扇发热，然后就fan
error死机. 照网上做的清洗了风扇，现在居然又好了。上网看电影罐水打个小游戏什
么的都好用。

保修个屁！给他们寄过去了，原封不动寄了回来。说不在保修范围内。我说买的时候不
是说一年保修吗？他们说只保修键盘之类，这种需要另外单独买保险。不然自己搞腰包
，$600+.我说你们当初怎么不说清楚什么保什么不保，贵的就不保了？争了半天没用，
TNND，后来买了100多的台式显示器凑合着用了。花了$1000+,买了个垃圾。

they probably thought this was caused by accidents, not a defect? If you dis
-agree, you can escalate your case, by just calling the lenovo and
saying you want to escalate.
By the way, thinkpads warranty service in US is led by IBM, who probably
does not care whether the repair is expensive.

其实也可以自己换屏幕的，从网上买屏，然后按照视频教程一步步来，100刀以内应该
可以搞定。

只要贵的，所有的问题他们都会认为你是accident造成的。我攒了好几个月的钱，买来
了每天宝一样供着，怎么会accident。据理力争？开玩笑吧。你看那个服务态度，你当
你是什么人？当初群里到处都是你们这些人的促销广告，现在也是，只要有人请人推
荐，必定烂脑娃，估计那个什么排行榜也是你们这帮人给整出来的吧。我接触的到的几
个同事都反映这个牌子问题最多，服务最差。现在买其他品牌（不透露牌子，免得说
我打广告），服务好的多，有问题的话电话一去，马上人从其他城市赶过来修，二话
不说，彻底修好。以后你们拿佣金的时候，要问问自己良心。

what is the problem with you? No one here sold you the computer. And I don't
work for lenovo.
Moreover, what you said does not make sense, screen only costs about $100.
But no one will cover accidents unless one has bought the accidental
coverage.
The service you mentioned is called on-site service, and are offered by most
OEM including lenovo.
