We are placing offer for a condo. Our agent sent us an email which includes
the following list:
Legal Name(s) of the buyers
Offer price
Current mailing address
Deposit amount (Normally 1%-3% of the offer price)--$5000
Pre-approval letter
Do we need to put deposit when we are placing an offer, to agent and to the
current owner?

Just send agent a copy of the check, no need for the original one.
