LG wants to put laminate floor in both living room and basement. But I just
heard laminate floor would get distorted by the humidity in basement.
Do you guys think putting laminate in basement is a good idea or not?

到不是因为这个，主要是体面工作中，华人比较擅长的也就这个了。
不然怎么没人呼吁餐馆阵地华人一定要死保？

No, if it is humid in your area, then no. You are absolutely right, laminate
will get distorted by water.

Well, it's just in my mind, laminate is not suitable in humid area.

I prefer synthetic carpet, which has no problem with moisture, much more
comfortable to walk on, and much warmer for basement. It is not expensive at
all and you can often get it installed professionally cheaply.
