我公司把我的H-1B生效期申请为7月，但我本来让公司把生效期定为5月，目前还在用
OPT(7月到期）。
不知道这样情况下是否能把H-1B的生效期改为5月。

上 5.0.1 之前， N7 待机一个星期都没问题，感觉哪天需要，拿起来用
肯定有电。 5.0.1 以后，天亮冲满点，晚上下班回来竟然一点电都没，
我还以为早上我看错了，于是连试几天，待机12小时以后肯定没电。
上网找了一下， 5.0 普遍有这个问题，解决方法待机前把 wifi 关掉，
今天试了一下，待机12小时后，还剩 97% 电。这个问题是在 5.0 出现的，
我还以为 5.0.1 应该补上了，看来还没补上。

I-129 approved yet?
Use OPT between May-July is better if you graduated.
I guess the only reason one would want H1 rather than OPT is he plan to
travel overseas between May-July and need a US visa stamp to return.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually, I want to use H-1B for green card application (EB1A) as I think H-
1B is better than OPT in this case.
I have got I-129 approved. Now I want to move the effective date earlier as
I want to submit my EB1A application soon.

EB I-140 has nothing to do with your non-immigrant visa status. You can be
in China and file EB1 I-140.
