Hi, although I am only a first year PhD student, I am thinking about
applying for green card next year or so. One of the reasons is that many
grant applications need this stuff... Please help me to see whether I am
eligible or not.Thanks.
3 first author papers (including one short review paper) in main stream
journal. Impact factor 2-3 for research papers

NOT ELIGIBLE！！

YOU HAVE NOT BEEN AWARDED A NOBEL PRIZE SO FAR!!!

It would be a good EB2 case.
but not so sure about EB1-A.
Not because you are not nobel laureate, (btw: to whoseever ID is BerettaFan,
you seem to bark everywhere, are you insane or what?)
but you are lack of strong evidence to be a leader of a field: such as
tenure-track faculty position, or editor of core journals, or receiving some
high-profile awards---note that fellowships are not really awards as they
are rewarded for your proposal not for your
final accomplishments.
