I agree with the second poster.
You do not need to compare your credential to people in other fields,
particularly those with lots of papers and citations.
You need to evaluate your accomplishment within your field. Does your
research record substantiate the claim that you are outstanding within your
field? If so, you can try DIY without the help of a laywer.

觉两个例子吧，
1我的律师不知道移民局已经开始用新表格
2 我问他petition letter里要不要写i will continue to work in us XXXX,他说不需
要，结果rfe就要一封信详细说明。
我真不清楚他们脑袋里都装的是什么，一半是开水，一半是面粉？晃一下就变成浆糊了。

俺老大不是说过吗， 俺老大的律师连CIS恢复PP的事都不知道。 律师的作用就是照着
你的推荐信和CV胡抄一通， 再填个表格， 这点活， 扔块大饼狗都能干。 这么多人找
律师， 是因为对如何申请GC一窍不通。 其实多来潜潜水， 就什么都明白了。
