I-140表的instruction里写需要附上
“Evidence that the Alien is coming to the US to continue work in the area
of expertise. Such evidence may include letters from prospective employers,
evidence of prearranged commitments such as contracts, or a statement from
the alien detailing plans on how he or she intends to continue work in the
US.”
是不是必须要现任雇主开一个employment verification/ job offer letter? 如果办
绿卡不想让雇主知道，是不是就要自己写个statement of plan?
大家都是怎么处理的呢？

I attached a copy of my job offer letter.

是需要一个employment verification, 不过其内容只是GENERAL的, 不一定针对CIS.
所以你只要找个理由让HR写个证明信就是了.

Put in your petition letter you tentative plan. If you are employed, just
state that you are currently employed by xxx and you plan to work in the
area you claimed extraordinary abilities.
Ask Human Resource, they can provide a letter without letting your immediate
adviser know.

Should be easy. Right? I asked HR to write me letter when I invited my
parents to visit.
