上周公司律师还说我这个case do-able, 今天好像看都没看递交的材料就说case 不
strong 想推托，还说明天要跟manager再讨论一下。
背景：
美国大公司，工作1年, title: research scientist。
2009 phd是EE, 做的领域偏向CS.
journal paper 2个，revision 2个。
conference paper 15个，其中在top 3 conference 4个，另外还有一个是best paper（中等conference, selected 1/700).
10+ conference presentations, one invited research talk.
citation 90个。
invited paper review by independent researchers and professors 15个。phd期间
指导教授让做的paper review 有30个。
top conference program comittee 做过4次。
我这个case难道真的很weak, 不好申EB1B

我想file eb1a,看了你的background，我什么都不敢申请了。
这么强都不合格，还什么合格阿。

明天万一manager支持这个律师的说法岂不是完了？

不行，你就自己请律师吧。
我认识一个我们方向的postdoc，没有你强（比我强），也eb1a过了

公司律师要求太高，或者根本不懂。你的背景足够强了。

律师说在公司工作才1年，PhD的工作经验占的weight少，还说公司经验最少得是3年。
难道PhD 5年经验真的在申EB1B时没多大帮助吗？

PhD outstanding research experience can count. I also graduated
last year and already got my Eb1b 140 approved. But you do need to argue that the research/teaching experience during your PhD period is outstanding and should count. My RFE asked for this specifically.

不weak. 很多公司雇的律师都是XX，他们就想不用干活光拿钱才好。
不过你帮老板review paper不能算你的申请证据。

outstanding的。

让自己老板支持你不难吧，要是换了HR就不好说了，HR只听律师的。
