depends on Univ, for some only choice is opt, for others cpt is fine

go ahead now if you can get your employer's support. If you wait long to get
your situation improved, USCIS may increase the bar again and again, and
you will never have a chance to be absolutely good enough.
So get it done asap.

是啊。Better sooner than later.
不过，也不清楚这个移民改革到底要怎么个样子的。我看美国很多人也吵吵因为H1名额
限制，导致outsourcing，致使经济衰退。也没准能增加移民名额呢。

补充一点，一定要先跟头说。跟他把事情原委讲清楚，别自己折腾DIY半天，他非得请
律师就麻烦了。他现在同意，未必签字的时候就肯，没准事到临头，你们头又一定要请
个律师啥的，所以一定要不厌其烦讲明白。可惜我现在没执照。呵呵。
你的case肯定可以过的，抓紧file吧。记得拿到绿卡请我吃饭就好了。
