去年拿的返美证回国，回来的时候入境的I－94写有效期到今年底，想问下大家，这种
情况下，我还用再申请什么延期之类的么？还是不用管他。
还想问下，如果去加拿大，短期，就几天，还要再申请反美证么？多谢了！

若只是用了AP的话就如同没用过一样，所以你若是H1的话仍是H1，不是什么AOS，所
以不要看I94，看你的H1 APPROVAL NOTICE

this reply is misleading. The below is a msg sent from the iss of my school.
WARNING: Your H-1B will be terminated If you have applied for Permanent
Residence and you intend to travel overseas and return using your Advance
Parole document.

你的AOS身份不会因为I-94过期而失效，只要你的485还是pending，你就一直是合法的
AOS身份。
但是如果你没有有效的AP，I-94又过期了，去了加拿大能否再回来就不好说了。就算可
以回来很可能也要费不少口舌。当然你如果AP还有效就什么问题都没有了。

移民局的规定是，使用AP入境，其H身份可以transfer(H1)，也可以extend(H1/4)，就
象你没有用过AP一样。
"an alien who was an H-1 or L-1 nonimmigrant, but who was paroled pursuant
to a grant of advance parole, may apply for an extension of H-1 or L-1
status, if there is a valid and approved petition. "
