拿到绿卡有一段时间了，生活也走上了正常的轨道。一直想把这段经历在总结一下。
我是200X 年毕业的， 二流学校，三流的导师， 到毕业时只有几篇会议期刊，No
journal. 因为没有绿卡, OPT过早失效，几经周折， 才找到工作。
2009 年风声鹤唳，EB2迟迟不下,决定申请EB1A DIY. 一直心虚，看网上的例子，谁都
比自己文章多。. In August, I finally got all the reference letters and
started to write the cover letter. But suddenly realized I could not do it.
Then we decided to turn to a lawyer. I sent my qualification to around 8
lawyers listed on MITBBS. Only 3 are willing to take my case. Others simply
think my case is too weak. In the end, I gave my case to one lawyer and got
my greencard.
体会一：
ＭＩＴＢＢＳ简供参考，不用太当真。如果象大多数所列，it is simple the numbers
of publications, type of publications, impact factors, awards, persons who
wrote the reference letters that matters. 那移民局的工作也太简单了。For my
case, although I do not have strong publications, but I have reference
letters, citations, letters that prove my results has been widely used and
pending patents to show my exceptional abilities. In the end, you just
have to provide enough EVIDENCEs.
体会二：
Although I initially wanted to try DIY, but I do find letting the lawyer do
it later is a wise decision, because I simply could to do it at the time.
I chose X simply because
1.He is experienced and has a positive attitude based on our several
communications.
2.他吃过苦. He is certainly motivated to do things seems difficult.
3.He will only take half of the money in the beginning and take the other
only if 140 is passed. This gave me confidence he will do his best. In the
end, one Jewish lawyer from his firm took my case.

一段访谈，深有同感。 成龙说其实他刚做慈善时，只是装的。到了后来，便动了真情
。 不知他是否说的是实话，真的动了情。其实，这并不重要。只要你能时时装着做慈
善，就是一个慈善家。同样, Just pretend you are outstanding, and 提供证据说
明your exceptional abilities, You are the ONE.
