打算申请绿卡，需要找人要推荐信，好多人都说在会议上可以找大牛要推荐信，那我是
但是在会上就和别人提这个，还是在会议期间随便聊聊，回来后再发信找别人要推荐信？
感觉在会上提这个不是很好，不知道大家都怎么要的？给点建议吧。

If you can offer them some help with research, eg. you have a neat way to
help them break an obstacle, or you have some rare sample/specimen that you
don't mind share for free, they'll become your best friends on the spot :-)

谢谢回复。
其实主要就是想找老板的一些合作者要，到时候大家都会见面的，而且还有一个小会要
参加，都是美国这边同课题的大小牛，所以不知道该如何下手。
所做的圈子很小，牛人没几个。
