我的一个推荐人收到google hr的邮件，要求他给推荐意见，里面是这么说的，
"we are submitting this to our executive management team first thing Monday
morning",这难道就是传说中的larry page级别的人最后approve？是不是表明之前的
hiring committee也过了呢？多谢啦

Where do you take the vaccine shots for the med exam ? Do we have to take
the shots if my record does not show I have taken them before ?
Is there a way to speed up the med exam process, since I think TB skin test
may take at least a few days to see the test result ? Is there a way
overcome this test so that I can get the exam result in one day ?

you can tell your doctor, your skin test is positive, then directly go to x-
ray, then you can finish everything in one day

差不多应该是这个意思了。lz应该差不多70％+的几率拿offer吧，提前恭喜～

my position will go to end soon, so i have to save anytime.
does a direct x-ray cost more money ? about how much ? it cannot be covered by medical insurance ?
the skin test of my wife and myself were positive few years back and x-ray are all good ? can we just use the old x-ray film for the report ?

No, you can not use old x-ray, unless it is within a year, you should talk
to your insurance to see what and how much is covered, everybody has
different insurance, there is no universal answer for that

covered by medical insurance ?
are all good ? can we just use the old x-ray film for the report ?

the civil doctor won't write skin test result unless he does it. I-693 with
skin test result is a must now. can't skip this step even if you are sure
it will be positive.

i heard there is a blood test. So I cannot directly take the blood test
either for the TB ? instead have to take skin test, if position, go to blood
test or x-ray ?

blood test is slow, no lab will give you the result within one day, it can
be even slower than your skin test, depends which lab is handle your sample
and how heavy their work load is , it can take up to a week

其实不觉得自己很牛了，估计是google最近招人多，所以给offer这么痛快。
由于一直在国内学习工作，没想过有可能直接申请美国的工作，所以也没try过别的，
直到google hr通过linkedin找到我，我才想试试吧，本来觉得他们很难进，没抱什么

not every doctor is that strict, they definitely can not write you neg
result, but they are happy to write you pos result, especially they know
you are from china. in the end you still have to do x-ray
