不认识，附上了resume和所有publication。这个还有进行教育的必要么？
I am very sorry but I do not know you and I cannot recommend you to the INS.
This would be unethical. INS is a serious organization that will verify
your supporting parties. Getting a letter from someone who does not know
would degrade your application immediately. So be careful in getting support
if you are willing to stay in the US.

你没有在信里说明independent appraiser的定义。你告诉他恰恰是uscis要求不认识的
人写.

这个很正常。如果人家从来没听说过你，不给写也正常。
所谓独立推荐人，不是说根本不知道你是谁，而是说“只闻其名，未见其人”。好比你
跟霍金不咋认识，但你可以给霍金写推荐信因为你知道他是何许人，干过什么牛b事儿
。但霍金可能从来没听说过你，那就不能给你写推荐信因为也不知道你做过什么工作。
其实EB1的默认前提就是你是领域里响当当的人物，有那么一票人虽然不personally认
识你但是对你仰慕已久。这些人就是给你写独立推荐信的人。当然实际上咱们一般没那
么牛，但是找一些熟悉你工作但是又没见过你的人还是不难的。

独立推荐人的这个“不认识”并不代表“没听说过”
应该是熟悉你的工作但是没见过你本人。

Just move on. You really can't control other people, especially professors.

sadly 他说的应该没什么大错，只不过有点太mean了，
USCIS要求的independent 是doesn't know you personally
而不是doesn't know you.
这两个的还是有区别，如果根本就不知道我们，还写推荐信，确实像他说的，不合适，
不过一般人也就是不回信罢了，
