约三个星期前拿到工业界offer letter,上星期accept offer.一直想试试EB1B，但之前
没有仔细研究，不知道工作title需要是researcher/scientist才可以。上星期accept
offer时也跟HR提过想申请EB1B，感觉他们是支持的，只是提到根据他们以往的经验本
公司EB1B的通过率不高，完全没提我的工作title不能申请。请问这是一个hard rule么
？如果是的话，我能做些什么（问HR能否改offer letter?）？

Not a hard rule.
There are cases got approved with Engineer title. It more depents on your
working description, which must be research focus.

Hi HH7, thanks for your reply. Does the job description need to be the one
posted on the web prior to my application to the position, or is it just a
document that the employer approves which can be "tailored" to the need of
application (if the employer is willing to do so)? Thanks!

don't worry. I know tons of cases approved with title *** engineer. As long
as your job responsibility is for R&D.

That is true. I was on the same boat. My title used in the application is **
*
Engineer. I was trying to persuade my company to change my title to ***
researcher, but they were not willing to do so. BTW, I got my I140 approved
in
5 days with PP.
