因为律师特别说了，不要自己去跟移民局联系，说会有负面影响。但是移民局查状态的
网上说You can register for automatic case status updates by email and text
message by creating an account. 那么自己去注册一个帐号查状态应该没问题吧，也
不需要通过律师吧。
大家都自己注册帐号，选择email or text来通知状态变化的吗？多谢。

我是直接把case number输进去查的，也可以注册一个账户密码，你就可以被通知你的
case状态，例如，邮件，短信啥的

我现在也是直接输入case #在它的页面上查。但是大家不是说这个更新慢吗。所以我想
去注册帐号，然后电邮或者短信通知。但是不知道这个是不是不用跟律师交待，就是自
己弄就行了？

yes, yes, yes! It's a service meant for the customers!
I set up the account when I applied for my OPT, then I used it for my H1B. I
am looking forward to using it for my green card!

Please do not attempt to contact the USCIS Service Center directly; speaking
to a USCIS officer regarding this case may adversely affect it. We will
notify you as soon as we receive notice of adjudication on this case.
