Hi,
老婆是做生物的博士后，正准备办EB1B. 律师要她先填一个表，需要老板签字，系主
任签字和International Office签字。 International Office告诉我老婆，此表要求
她老板雇用她至少两年。我们现在有点担心。现在她老板的科研经费撑一年都有问题
。很有可能绿卡办下来之后我老婆就被裁员。两年之内绝对需要换工作。
我想问的是，如果拿到绿卡后，我老婆换了工作, 移民局给我老婆的原单位打电话，
就会发现我老婆已经换工作了，这样的情况下，会不会收回我老婆的绿卡？
另有一问题，假设我老婆办好绿卡，我也连带绿了。她回国发展一段时间，我在美国
backup. 假设我老婆回国超过了6个月导致她的绿卡失效，会不会影响我的绿卡身份？
哎，学生物的不好办，多留几条路吧。

一般默认是6个月之内不要换工作，何来的两年不能换工作呢？可能律师是需要一个
empolyee letter去证明工作的永久职位。

your wife can quit the job tomorrow if she gets the gc today. 2-year
requirement is only to show her job is "permanent" to meet the eb1b
requirement. Once she gets the gc, she is free to go anywhere. Those 6-month
claims are not official, people just want to secure any uncertainty out.
Again, she is free to go anywhere once getting the gc.
your gc is safe even if your wife's gc is revoked for any reason.

They won't.
People are concerned about keeping similar jobs after they get their green
cards because they are considering what would happen when they apply for
citizenship 5 years down the line. Probably there's some requirement then.
