正在憋推荐信...
想请教各位，如果独立推荐人是引用过自己文章的，是不是要把引用那篇文章啥的都写
上？不知道对方会喜欢这样么？如果谁有类似模板，请不吝赐教，用包子换也成，当然
偶是新手，没几个包子，嘎嘎！
我吧，三无，就有文章，引用和review，写来写去就是这三个，哪怕一篇会议、一个受
邀演讲、一个小破奖也行啊，可惜啥都没有，一点不多样，现在写啊写啊，兄弟姐妹们
，你们说我是不是该A信写文章和引用，B信写文章和REVIEW，C信写三样，然后剩下至
少要2-3封，咋排列呢？
憋。。。憋。。。。郁闷嘎嘎～

I can't share the templates from my lawyer.
The main idea is that those independent references should say how your work
has inspired their own work so that your work is useful.
As to the specific wording, say everything positively. Present your own work
(from the reference' perspective, it's his/her work, and it sounds more
objective.) as original and important, and speak about their work (from the
reference's perspective, that's his/her own work) as solving a new problem
using your technique, extending a framework that you have constructed, or
verifying your discoveries in more experiments and applications, and so on.
It's not like in the introduction of a paper that we often pick the
shortcomings of earlier papers.
Also check your papers to see how they differ. Try to use different
references to talk about different papers, although it's good to use a
couple to talk about the most important papers.
As to whether the references would be willing to sign, just give it a try,
and keep trying till somebody is willing to sign. In order to succeed, we
need to double our failure rate. :-) Best wishes!

Well, it sounds like I am cutting the ground from under my lawyer's feet. :-
) I should probably say something like "If you have some doubts, go consult
with a lawyer" to balance it out. There are good lawyers. :-)
