还有1-2封中国的 （是不是太多？）
3封美国的 （其中一个是杂志主编）
我的吹点很少，基本一个推荐信吹一个文章。。。
这样的搭配有没有什么弱势？

My case was much more 悲催. I sent them the drafts in the summer, and quite
a few people were on the trip, etc. Some even responded late that I was
worried whether they'd sign the letters or not. Luckily they did, but just
late.
Also later we wanted to get a couple more letters, so that also took some
more time.
Overall, I spent nearly two months on collecting all the letters.

如果既是同事，有引用了我的文章，这样的情况怎么处理？
唉，我的文章大部分是2011年出的，引用率狂低。

没关系的，我也有这种情况。pl里直接写，在xx journal上(journal rank)发表的
yy paper，作者应用我的work开发了zzz。。。不提是不是认识人
新paper引用率低正常，io懂的。

pl又补了1封

That's apart from the one month or 1.5 months I used to write the drafts. My
lawyer wanted me to hold onto the drafts to have a global view on all of
them before I sent them out.
So these 2 months were nearly purely waiting, reminding them, printing
things, etc.
After that, I also spent some time on PL, getting some more verification
letters, etc. My case is perhaps in the middle, in terms of timing.

主要是有律师的模板，开始因为专业不一样，我又问律师要了一套本专业的模板。因为
律所合同，我不能把模板给你。你可以发个帖子问同专业的要一下。一定要先有模板，
然后模仿成不同的六个人，年纪大的，跟你同龄的说话肯定不一样，特别牛不牛，语气
也很不同。
每篇推荐信说不同的文章。比如A作者引用了你B文章，你就让A帮你吹B的工作。如果C
作者引用了你两篇文章，那C的推荐信就可以吹两个工作，或者其中有overlap的工作，
你又找不到引用过的人来吹，也可以让引用过你文章的人，帮你吹他没有引用的文章。
顺便看了你其他的问题，我自己学到的经验是：推荐人不在多，5,6个就足够。
重点是引用过你的文章而且完全不可能认识你的人。中国的最好不要，要显得你
international，多国家多地区。

1. the letters should talk about your contribution.
2. the letters should cover enough of your major achievements.
3. the letters should show your international reputation.
You can't use letters all from Chinese, but if you have to use some letters
from Chinese, don't feel bad about it, as long as they also show 1. or 2.
above. I have used 3 letters from Chinese (2 in US, 1 in China).

多是认识的人。
美国人一个是看我读完ph.d.的，一个是我的合作者，一个是开会一起吃饭喝酒的主编。
意大利人是那个主编的哥们。
一些日本人还是大大的好，我去要，他还主动offer帮我要他老板的推荐信。
所以坚持去开年会吧。

分开写的弊端是什么？
同时写，可能是比较法。
一个一个写，是排除法。比如第一封用过的内容，其他就不再用了。
不知道这个思路是否正确？

都写完了再发,可以确保内容更准确.例如你第一封信没经验,写的烂,可发出去了
人家都签了字了,那就没法子改了
