请问一下，NIW除了可以随时换工作之外，和EB2还有什么区别么？时间方面？过程方面

niw在时间方面和eb2基本没区别，成功率和个人背景有关，不像perm基本百分百。
当然了，niw要求不高。对想要跳槽的人来说，niw挺合适的

I see. If you can get your NIW approved, NIW generally is quicker than PERM
(i.e., you might get an earlier PD), and there are only two steps: 140+485
For PERM, you have to get the prevailing wage, post the ad, get the PERM
approved (this process can take a long time) and when PERM is approved, 140+
485.
However, if the lawyer is good, PERM should easily get approved (although
many people get audited too). NIW might be riskier comparing with PERM.
Many company lawyers would suggest you to go with PERM, since the procedure
is more standardized than NIW (and may be easier for them).

NIW比较麻烦啊，写推荐信，要推荐信什么的。Perm不需要这些吧。

That is true, however, you can control this part (i.e., if yourself work
hard, you might get all the letters back and 140 ready in less than 2 months
).
For PERM, it is all up to your HR and lawyer. I know some friends get PERM
finally submitted after 2 years' preparation.
I forgot to mention the job interview part. After the Ad, the company need
to interview the candidates, if they cannot screen out all of them and give
USCIS a valid reason why all other people are not qualified, they have to re
-start to post the Ad again.
And once the company gets an Audit, that can take years.
However, if the lawyer is really experienced and the company's HR is

赞专业～确实，考虑打广告的时间，perm比niw慢。考虑准备材料，niw比perm费事多了

perm process time现在一般也就三个月左右，140还可以PP的，NIW的140快的一两个月
，慢的半年一年的也有，又不能PP, 如果有博士学位，又有一两篇文章，办NIW还不如
拼一下EB1b。

and I guess it won't be current very soon.
When considering perm processing time, getting the prevailing wage, post the
ad, interview the candidates should also take into considerations (It took
one of my friends 2-3 years for that process before PERM submission because
of the delay of HR and also they have to redo the ad and interview part
because of some qualified candidates who applied for the job).
When considering PD, PD for PERM is the time PERM is submitted. PD for NIW is the time NIW is submitted. So the processing time for PERM or NIW 140 will not affect PD (if both cases are approved).Generally speaking, if the petitioner works very hard to get the NIW 140 done, the PD for NIW will be earlier than the PD for PERM, and submission time can be controlled by the petitioner.

公司律师申PERM，然后自己再找个肯接我case的口碑好的律师拼一下EB1B.

你说的是对的，但是PP140是为了万一公司裁员140没批就前功尽弃了，140批了好歹PD
能保留。就雇主自由这个角度看，NIW是比perm强，不用重复办。

不是中国印度人的话EB1B 不用排期要快很多。
NIW一般来讲比eb1b要求低一点，但是要排期，不过最近排期进度很快。
可以同时申请。
不过EB1B申请一半被裁员就惨了。

I have seen, the PD for the one who submitted NIW is at least one year
earlier than the one prepared for PERM. Although theoretically the gap
should not be that large, there are too many factors that you cannot control
for PERM.
If I only can choose between PERM and NIW and I am confident about my NIW
case, I will choose NIW.

earlier than the one prepared for PERM. Although theoretically the gap
should not be that large, there are too many factors that you cannot control
for PERM.
If I only can choose between PERM and NIW and I am confident about my NIW

问题是我不confident about NIW...觉得还是比较risky的,所以还是EB2保底吧，现在
排期也挺快的，而且公司的律所据说是highest rating的律所之一，应该比较靠谱。
EB1B or NIW需要折腾的东西太多，等我前阵子submit的paper如果被接收了，再找找看
有没有比较靠谱的律师肯接EB1B吧（现在律师都用long shot, venture,highly risky

找个好老中律师，只要你有文章且有一定引用率，NIW应该没问题，就是要自己准备很
多材料比较辛苦，但好处是显而易见的：不用依靠雇主，即使被雷了，中间没工作时间
不要太长，交485的时候有对应的工作，就没问题。而且自己请的律师都比较靠谱，基
本不会出现给你搞错耽误的事，递交文件forward各种notice通知递交485都很及时。公
