想知道大家的推荐人是怎么安排的,美国和国外的推荐人数是怎么平衡的?
比如,我现在初步安排是需要5个,3个美国,2个国外(韩国和新加坡各一个).不知道这样
安排对INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION够不够?

depend on your area, a lot of engineering positions hire PhD in Physics.

理论计算物理方向呢？ Industrial没有啊

物理postdoc就四万多的工资，只有工业界的零头，太少了

high energy or condensed matter? condensed matter theorist can still find
some positions in industry. high energy physicists may have to go to
financial engineering or software industry.

I am doing condensed matter theory with computational work, nonequilibrium
Green function method.
And looks like no position available at all.

Try to find someone to refer you.There are definitely jobs for computational
physicists in the industry but not as many and very competitive.You have to
keep trying.
