申请 EB2 （包含NIW ）也要先申明自己属于1. a member of profession with
advanced degree 或者 2. a person with exceptional ability in sciences, arts
or business.
那么一般博士后都申明哪一类呢，是 1 吗? Thanks.
见cis网站常见问题：
Q12. If an entrepreneur wants to file for a NIW, does he or she still have
to be a member of the profession holding an advanced degree or an individual
of exceptional ability?
A12. Yes. The entrepreneur must first demonstrate that he or she is either a
member of the profession holding an advanced degree or an individual of
exceptional ability.

我觉得是2，
“national interest waivers are usually granted to those who have
exceptional ability (see above) and whose employment in the United States
would greatly benefit the national.”

thanks, I did reaad the link you post.
I feel it is conflict with the link below

it seems uscis have 2 explaination for NIW's criter.

The answer says "or" there. Maybe both ways are okay. Well, what is a
profession though? post-doc may not be a member of the profession. A post-
doc is often an individual of exceptional ability.
