看到版上有人为要独立推荐信而困扰,我就和大家分享一封我的模板吧. 我给大概七八
个引用过我文章的人发信后,最后成功拿到了3封推荐信. 看来这个模板还是有一定的效
果的.
本模板适合和引用过自己文章的推荐人索要推荐信. 大家觉得有用的话就给个包子吧.

This is xyangw from MITBBS. I obtained my PhD in Immigration from MITBBS
University in 20XX. My research during my PhD study was focused on
watering.
I was very impressed by your series publications on XXX, XXX, and XXX
Journal, etc. I am also very glad to know you've cited our research work
several times. For instance, in your recently XXX Journal (20XX Issue
XXX)
and XXX Journal (20XX Issue XX) papers entitled “How to water in
MITBBS”,
