建议我们联合起来写给uscis ombudsman, 因为大家来自不同的州，而议员也分管不同
的州，所以uscis ombudsman是最有效的，我们写个稿子，然后同意加入的人一起落款。
理由是：要求USCIS按照CASE先后顺序来处理。
自己的命运掌握在自己的手中，这样等下去，迟早会批，但是谁也不知道还要等多久。
Life is short,why waiting?
我们必须多集中人，10个以上才有号召力。

目前已经有12位同学，
deriver , SGSSGS , HSP90 , steventian , mdcaj , dongbei , luludd，
catdoudou ，NCer1 ，weip ， sebqian ， maillist ，
另新加入的， mileslyp, shmimy , HadesPluto , steventian, genegun73 , wildli ,
建议楼主，把题目改成“2011年的485”，标题一是要提到485，另可能还有10月之前的
同学，12月估计不多，也一起来签名。

英文不好，我起个头儿吧，随便写了几句，请大家补充
Dear Immigration Officer(or Mr.Ombudsman??)
We are a group of people who submitted our I485 applications in October or
November 2011.
However, we haven’t heard anything back from USCIS after over 6-month
waiting. Some of us tried to do INFOPASS or contact the Senator, but we were
told that we are still in the normal time frame of processing and USCIS
processes the cases in the order of received dates. We understand that USCIS
has extreme workloads, what we do not understand is that some cases have
been approved in only 2 or 3 months. Here are some examples (if you guys
think it is appropriate, we can provide some case numbers here).
Some of us were told the cases are still waiting on the shelf waiting to be
assigned.
We are in urgent need of I485 approval because of the following reasons:
1. Reason 1
2. Reason 2
3. Reason 3
4. Reason 4
We’re requesting USCIS kindly take a look at our cases and process these
cases in the order of received dates.

reason 1 can be:
Without our I-485 approval, we are not eligible to apply for various but already limited research grants. This becomes a psychological burden and severely affects the research progress as a scientist. Meantime, due to the tedious and lengthy process of applying for entry visas, otherwise waived, to other countries , this deters our intention to attend international conferences to share and assimilate current research understanding with peers.This is again detrimental to American advancement in sciences.

不赞成，各自不同的州，议员的给力程度也不一样。不能形成合力。

做个总结，
我觉得有效的办法是我们分别向USCIS Ombudsman发信，但是摆出的理由相似，我们统
一好REASON 1 2 3 4, 然后在集中一周内发出。一定注明2011 十月十一月，而且说明。
目前的summary
1. EB1A/B已经批的，需要申请grant，国际学术交流
2. USCIS每次只给form answer saying first come first serve, but apparently
they approve cases randomly, it's not fair
3. 大家继续想
需要一个人来统一指挥：either genegun73 or dongbei or me 有没有能建QQ群的同学？

I have not used QQ for years. Don't even know how to use QQ qun.
Can somebody make a QQ qun and tell me how to join? I have to find out what
is my QQ number first. Really long time no use.
If nobody do that, I will do a research these two days to find out how to
make one.

我觉得原因2可以是: 拿不到绿卡, 我们的配偶不能自由的换工作, 特别是到一些职业
性比较强的领域:如临床医生,技师以及一些其他部门.

还是一样内容，从不同的email账户发给他。
请大家想想怎么操作。

一封email 的问题是要注册一个统一的email地址？大家把自己的递交日期和receipt
number附上去.
大家在统一时间一起发的问题是，USCIS同一时间收到内容相同的信，会不会被当垃圾
邮件过滤掉？

for example, Each group (with a few people) work for one reason.Then after
this weekend, we can pool these reasons together and make them in one email.
Then we can get everybody electronic signed and send the email.
How is that?

老实说，其实也没有太多的理由，无非是1. 申请研究经费受限；2. 签证不便（可人家
已经给你AP了，这理由难成立）3. 进出某些工作需要（visit, field trip, short-
term study, etc），但比较敏感的地点（national lab etc）受限，这点跟1类似；4.
违背公平原则, 作业疏失。If USCIS processes tons of cases received in Feb.
and even Mar., while hundreds of Oct. and Nov. cases are kept on shelf
untouched, it cannot simply attribute the inequality to case-by-case
situation. We are reluctant to relate our misfortune to intent of not
processing certain cases. Therefore, such unexpected situation mostly likely
is due to ineffectiveness and inefficiency of USCIS officials in allocating
cases properly.
信的内容差不多就行了，不用写长篇大论，文采飞扬什么的。关键写好后在版上贴出来
，留第一段给大家各自写名字，case number什么的。然后多多宣传，置顶之类的，希
望有尽量多的人在短时间一起发信。
BTW,我跟我LD算2个。家里有多人一起申请的，我建议分开发信，显得多点儿。反正收
信的不是具体处理事务的，他也搞不清谁是principal applicant，谁不是。20封信肯
定比10封来的有分量。
