我觉得应该是给律师，有一个I797的receipt notice。
可以电话问uscis。

The receipt should be sent to the lawyer, or you may ask the international
office, the original receipt should be mailed to them.

我的支票是通过律师写的，如果是这样的话就说明材料没丢，我就等着就行了。怕材料
