有几个中小公司做我类似的东西美国欧洲的都有如果他们的主页的新闻一栏里面提到
了我的名字和paper
这样算媒体报道么?

我老板是其中几个公司的advisor 这些公司如果报道了是不是也不能算数?

Here is one of the six criteria which defines media report: "Published
material in professional publications (popular press) about Dr. XXX and his
work".
Is the company webpage consider publications? You make the call.
Normally in order to independently claim media report, you need major media
such as Washington Post, Times, BBC, etc. so that the IO can not find any
chance to give you a RFE.
