要换工作了，新公司的benefit里不包括申请绿卡这一部分，后来和新公司的program
director谈，说我愿意自己出钱，只需要公司出一些材料，他回信说：“ I don’t
think the documentation is a problem here. HR hasn’t raised any issues
about it. It’s just that the costs can only be charged to overhead and come
out of company profit. If you are prepared/able to bear the cost, whatever
amount it is, I think XXX(the name of the new company) will definitely
support you.” 请问这样的答复是否算数，我是否还需要直接从HR那里得到答复才算

For Eb-1B, your employer needs to do the following:
a. submit a permanent job offer letter that directly addressed to you;
b. sign the I-140 form.
c. provide documents showing they hire at least three full time
researchers with documented achievements (the researchers’ resumes, job
title, papers published, patents filed or granted, etc.),
d. Provide documents showing they have the ability to pay you the
proffered salary (company’s annual report, audited financial statement, or
if your company hires more than 100 employees, a statement from the chief
financial offer).

我的是原来工作单位的HR出的，你的新工作单位无法证明你过去的工作经验。
你要到相应的工作单位的supervisor或者HR出具你的工作经历，性质。
同理，如果你不满3年要找PHD adviser给写证明信证明你graduate school时候的
research experience。
