今天下午得知今年H1B 99%没有抽中，小组紧急讨论backup plan. 公司legal咨询过外
部律师，说是J1 visa可行，领导意思是如果可行就先J1一年然后明年办premium
processing的H1B。我自己本身也已经开始递交材料申请MBA项目，最近申请了一所可以
一开始就fulltime cpt的学校,可以挂两年cpt。
本人情况是opt 8月中旬过期，无extension，去年10月master毕业。之前在国内工作过
一年才来的。
希望大神们帮我分析一下这两种办法的利弊。也希望大神们能给出宝贵意见。多谢了！

模板一般是有几类：
1. Objective documentary evidence of the signigicance of the beneficiary's
contribution to the field
2. Documentary evidence that people throughout the field currently consider
the beneficiary's work important
3. Testmony and/or support letters from experts which discuss the
beneficiary's contributions of major significance
4. Evidence that the beneficiary's magjor significant contribution(s) has
provoked widespread public commentary in the field or has been widely cited
5. Evidence of the beneficiary's work being implemented by others. Possible
evidence may include but is not limited to
Contracts with companies using the beneficiary's products;
Licensed technology being used by others;
Patents currently being utilized and shown to be significant to the
field
我对材料具体属于上面哪一类有一些疑问。尤其是对第一项的objective documentary
evidence，感觉具体citation的讨论（大段引用和good words）似乎放这里面也不是很
合适，因为这里面也有该作者的主观意愿在里面。另外，邀请报告，Editors'
suggestion这些也不能算是objective。引用很多（top1%之类）也应该算在第4项里面
，放在1里面不太合适吧？
当然，引用多，引用里面的highlight之类的东西应该可以不止在上面一类里面出现。
不过对objective documentary evidence来讲，我确实还是不太清楚哪里材料可以往里
面放。

自己决定pp，没想到timing不是很好。13号开始clock，如果IO想度个假什么的，周五
21号就成了最后一天了。
感觉IO没读推荐信和很多具体引用的亮点，包括其他一些证据。反复提10篇文章似乎比
较少，引用次数不算多，只有两次international conference invited talk，而且还
都是在一年内，表明没有sustained acclaim。

如果现在申请J1的话，要三个月差不多9月才能批下来，然后半年后到明年3月才能申请
豁免，而豁免要至少4个月才能成功，这样是不是明年就没法申请H1B了

j1 基本不推荐，可以去中国大使馆网站上看看豁免的最新要求，好像是说拿j1之后12
月才可以开始申请豁免，我不确定。需要中国政府的人解释。 一般不推荐搞j1
