给一个推荐人把reference letter的草稿发过去之后，得到如下回复：
Dear xxx,
I have honestly found your letter exagerated and thus potentially
detrimental for your purpose, I would thus cut words such as "alien", etc.
also objective information such as total number of papers, total number of
citations without self-citations and h-index are missing, could you please
provide them using ISI WEB OF SCIENCE?
these numbers can help, of course including the information of your age,
是不是这个推荐人不愿意给推荐信签字？有必要争取一下嘛？想听听大家的建议。谢谢

除了第一句话外（他不知道申请绿卡就是要吹吗？），我觉得这个推荐人倒是属于挺认
真的那种！要你的文章总数，citation等也很正常呀！建议你再和他解释一下，只是为
了申卡，把他要求的提供给他。在努力一下吧，找个推荐人挺不容易的。

感觉这个老师不是向我要这些资料，只是建议给移民局提供。
