我和老公2011年5月结婚，婚前老公就有绿卡了。我俩都在美国工作，我h1b第6年了，
急！
问题如下：
1。请问现在让老公给我申请绿卡的话必须请律师吗？
2。如果可以DIY的话，需要准备哪些材料？

1，没有必要请律师。当然愿意请，也可以。
2，ＦＢ２Ａ需要填Ｉ130。可以参考皮匠老师的博客。

你的排期是到了，应该同时可以递交130/485吧，你在问问移民律师确认一下。

正后悔呢，当时结婚的时候没着急先办绿卡这事。当时咨询律师说可以等老公公民了再
办，差不多。
谁知道这两年FB 2A的排期很快...悔之晚矣
现在开始办怎么的PD也要是2013，8/9/10月份了吧?

我觉得没有关系，你排期到了，同时递交130/485/EAD/131等，很快EAD，AP就能下来，
只有拿到EAD你就可以工作了。

只有拿到EAD你就可以工作了。

F2A is all C next month, so you can file it like US citizen's spouse and
file I-485, 131, 765 concurrently. But you need to be and have maintained in
legal status, unlike USC's spouse whose status can be "black". And
finanlly we will actually see some GC holders in this category get 2-year
conditional GC. Because in the past when F2A PD was > 1 year wait, it would
be quite unlikely to see GC approved within 2 years of marriage.

I married to my husband in May 2011. It has been more than 2 years now. Do
yI still get conditional GC? And what's the consequence of getting a

Your GC will be permanent without condition because you have married for >2
years before I-485 approval. In the past F2A waiting times mostly around 2-5
years, there was shortly a few months windows when PD needed only 1 year
wait, but too short to see any spouse actually got approval.
