1. 如果NIW 140批了之后就回国发展，等排期到了之后拖着不递485可以吗？
2. 如果放弃绿卡回国发展，将来再重新申请绿卡，会有负面影响吗？

1. it is employment-based. you sure you will have an employer then?
2. you have to make a sworn in an us embassy to give up the card. heard no
one made a joke and then reapply.

NIW485 then?
But my point is, if I delay the 485 by several years, would that work?
2. Well, yes, I can make a sworn to give up the card. The question is, after
5 years, I came back with an H1b postdoc and reapply the card, will there
be problems?

but for 2, my question is actually: will USCIS reject my green card
application if I have a record of giving up the card before?
