Hello Everyone. My O1 work visa application is RFE. Please help me out.
Thanks a lot.
I can't type Chinese, so I have to type English.
My background is as follows:
1. Ph.D in Physics in US University. All of my work and publications are
related to Electrical Engineering area
2. 11 Journal publications (3 IEEE Transaction, 2 Journal of Applied physics
), 11 Conference proceedings.
3. 40+ Review of journal papers, including IEEE transaction, IET Electronic
Letters, etc.
4. 3 independent recommendation letters (two of them are from leading
experts), 2 dependent recommendation letters.
5. 70 citations.
I was using one of the lawyers in the MITBBS. I drafted all the
recommendation letters and the lawyer revised them. The lawyer is also in
charge of the petition letter.
Basically, the USCIS officer deneied all of my claims of authorship,
judgement and contribution. In the RFE, the officer requires the documents
showing the significance of the published material, the significance of the
work judged by the beneficiary and the criteria used to choose the
beneficiary as a judge, and the evidence showing the beneficiary made
original contributions.
My case is in California service center. The lawyer told me the officer
might be new to O1 cases.
Did anyone in this kind of situation? This is....
Please give me some suggestion on the RFE. Any commends are more than
welcome. Thanks a lot.
